I started making tack in 1997 after buying a halter kit and deciding that I liked doing it. I started at my kitchen table, then progressed to a card table that I could devote to my hobby without having to clear it away all the time. That was when I lived in a mobile home, and we didn't have a whole lot of room! My husband and I bought a house in late 2001, and I now have a large room to devote to my horses, and another room where my work area is. It is wonderful! I primarily create western saddle sets, parade outfits, and harness. All of my tack is top live show quality, and has garnered numerous championships for the owners and myself, including NAN top ten and championship honors. People on 3 continents own my pieces, and to me that is mind boggling! I never thought I'd be sending tack overseas! I have been compared quite favorably to some top tack makers in the hobby, and I am humbled and honored to be included in their light.
